Hungry Shark World is an action game. It is developed by Future Games London. It was published by Ubisoft for Android and iOS devices in May 2016.
You play this game by selecting a shark and start eating to get as big as possible. You can eat small sea creatures but also human beings. You have to keep on eating and move around to stay alive in this game. Every time you feed on prey your life meter count goes up and you will also keep on collecting coins. You collect more life points and coins whenever you kill a human. Stay away from harmful objects and bigger oceanic predators. You can start feeding on bigger and bigger preys as your shark's keeps growing.
The controls for this game are very simple. Just keep on steering your shark towards the prey and keep it moving. There are so many things to prey upon. Swimming tourists, school of small fishes, divers, and crabs. Make sure you finish the kill when you attack a diver. Otherwise he might stab and wound you. Every time your shark...gets attacked, your life meter count decreases. Your shark will also die if he doesn't have enough food. So, make sure to feed him more humans, as feeding on small fishes are not going to be enough to keep him alive.
With the rewards you earn, you can upgrade your shark, unlock new ones and unlock other oceanic locations.
You can play Hungry Shark World for free. The free version contains lots of ads. By getting the paid version you can avoid ads. You can also unlock new levels with real money if you are an impatient player.
This game has some good visuals and realistic screaming sound effects when people get killed. You can always lower your device's volume if you are someone who isn't comfortable with the sound of people dying. Actually the fact the sharks also feed on people is something that will make many people avoid this game. The game is rated PEGI 12. This is definitely not a game for little kids.
Hungry Shark World is rated PEGI 12. Video games that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters or non-realistic violence towards human-like characters would fall in this age category. Sexual innuendo or sexual posturing can be present, while any bad language in this category must be mild. Gambling as it is normally carried out in real life in casinos or gambling halls can also be present (e.g. card games that in real life would be played for money).
