Rail Nation is a simulation game developed by Travian Games. The game was published for iOS and Android devices in December 2016.

In Rail Nation you get the opportunity to manage the American railway system. Initially you have to pick between the Western Railway owned by Butch Wessidy or the Eastern Railway owned by Cornelius Vanderrail. Both of these men are trying to conquer the other side of America and aim to take control of the total American railway system.

Once you select a side, you can choose a city from that side to create the main train station of your railway empire. Then you pick your train and start scheduling trips to nearby industries to deliver and pick up goods. You continue constructing more railway tracks so that you can connect more factories and buildings to obtain more materials and increase your income.

Constructing buildings like garages, hotels and restaurants will directly affect the rate of the quality of your railway and the trains. These building will...also bring you bonuses. The more you upgrade these building the more the bonuses they will bring in.

You have to think very strategically how to schedule your train's routes. Make sure that the train is able to refuel during its trips. Perfecting the routes may take a while at the beginning of Rail Nation. But once you get the hang of it you'll be making all kinds of cool routes that will bring in lots of money from passengers and customers. You will be on your way to become the next railway tycoon.
